Harry Potter
Fri, 15th Jul, 2005 11:00
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be released tomorrow. Alison writes excitedly on her blog here about making a Hufflepuff robe and helping Lisa with her Quiddich robe for the event. Based on Alison's Gryffindor robe, Babylon 5 ranger costume and LOTR Eowyn Green robe, people entering the Borders creative costume judging at 7:30am will be in for some tough competition.

The first sentence of the Sunday Mail's "review" of Harry Potter revealed who gets killed. The second sentence revealed who the Half Blood Prince is. I'm not a violent person, but i almost punched the newspaper that day. Thankyou for this outlet.

Jude Ralston, 32, of Hudson, Ohio left a suicide note indicating that since overhearing the plot spoiler at a shopping mall earlier in the day, "I no longer have a reason to live."

Think of a good book. One that you read over and over. does knowing the plot spoil the book the second time round? Think of somthing like Hamlet. Everyone knows Hamlet is going to die at the end. Does that ruin it? That's the difference between Harry Potter and a good book. Once you know the plot to Harry Potter, there's nothing left.
